Professional Liars Dominate PDP, Says Ajomale

The
Chairman, All Progressives Congress, APC, Lagos State Chapter, Otunba
Henry Ajomale has described the incessant media attacks on the leaders
of the party as a sign of the Peoples Democratic Party’s desperation to
cling tight to power.
Reacting to a documentary being
aired by a Lagos-based television station on Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,
the Lagos APC boss said the documentary was cooked up, wondering why the
PDP could go to such an extent in the name of politics.
according
to Ajomale, “I cannot understand why people could go to the extent of
conjuring destructive lies against their fellow beings in the name of
politics, trying to bring down a man like Tinubu who has done so much
for this country.
“They said he trafficked cocaine,
served a jail term and his money forfeited in 1993, the same year the
astute politician was serving at the National Assembly as a Senator of
the Federal Republic. How could someone be serving a jail term and be at
the senate at the same time?
“Before
then, he was in Mobil as the treasurer. They claimed that he owns
Oriental Hotel, why did they not go to the C.A.C. to verify whether he
has anything to do with the hotel or not?
“The PDP is
living up to its name as People Destroying People by going to the
ridiculous extent of conjuring lies against people. The party is
dominated by professional liars who are too desperate to hold on to
power.”
He pointed out that the PDP claimed in the
documentary that the former Lagos State governor owned First Nation
Airlines without proper checks and also attributed the ownership of
HITECH which belongs to the Chagouris to the APC national leader.
Ajomale
also warned against another shift in the election date, saying it would
endanger the nation’s peace because there was nowhere in Nigeria’s
Constitution that you must postpone election beyond a certain date.
